I would like to extend to all our members of Coquitlam Squadron, especially the graduation students from our fall Boating Class, Seasons Greetings and my best wishes to you all.
I am sure that most of you are fully acquainted with the many benefits of being a member in CPS. I have always felt that one of the most important benefits is the comradeship of other like-minded Boaters. One way you can experience this is by volunteering to be a Proctor at our next Boating Course, which starts on Tuesday January 20th. Chris Brunt-Tompsett, our Training Officer, would be delighted to hear from you!! (604 576-2562, cabt@shaw.ca)
Another very important way is by volunteering for a Bridge Committee position as we begin now our nominations process for our elections at our AGM in April. Please give this some serious thought and consider helping in areas such as Training, Socials, Secretarial, Publicity etc. As chair of the Nominating Committee I would love to hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
Ron Minshall
Squadron Commander
