Spring Training Courses
Dear Boating Course Graduate:
I am writing to let you know that registrations are being accepted for our Seamanship Course, the Marine Radio VHF Course, the GPS Course, and the Electronic Charting Course for this Spring. You may register on line at www.coquitlampowersquadron.com, with links to our national secure website cps-ecp.com for the registration and secure payment via credit card. You may also register and pay on the first night of a course. Please call the contact for the course for details.
The Piloting Course commences Janurary 20th for 14 weeks if enough interest is shown, at Gleneagle Secondary. Please contact Gordon Clay, Advanced Training at 604 936-8203.
The VHF Course commences on March 3rd at Gleneagle Secondary, and runs for 4 weeks. Please contact Bruce Littlejohn at 604 469-9906.
The GPS Course commences on February 10th for 4 weeks, and the Electronic Charting course on March 31st for 5 weeks, both at Gleneagle. Please contact Cedric Robertson at 604 942-8495.
I would like to also remind you at this time, that we are always looking for past Boating Course students to act as Proctors to our new students. Students who have helped us in this way are always telling me how much they enjoy the relationship that is built up between the proctor and student, and how they appreciate the fact that it re-enforces the knowledge gained by taking the course initially. Please consider joining us when our next Boating Course starts on Tuesday January 20th at Gleneagle Secondary. Please contact our Training Officer, Christ Brunt-Tompsett, at 604 576-2562.
